Organizing Course Content- Setting Up Menu Items

When setting up menu buttons, think about how you would like to arrange your course.  Would you like for all of your course content be broken up into weekly lessons/ modules with all necessary materials in 1 folder (See example 1)?  Another way to set up your course would be to have a separate menu button for each item in the course such as one for lecture notes, readings, assignment and etc.

Course Example 1

(Inside the Module will include the following)
* Lecture Notes
* Readings
* Websites
* Assignments
* Discussions
* Quizzes

Course Example 2

• Have a button for all course lectures/notes
• Have a button for all Readings
• Have a button for all quizzes and assignments
• Have a button for Discussion Board
