Using a Group Study Room
Two group
study rooms are available for use by any RU patron and
members of the public. Each is equipped with playback
equipment for all formats found in the library (CD,
phonodisc, cassette tape, VHS, DVD). One room is
additionally equipped with a Clavinoa electronic piano.
-
Group
study rooms may be used when available or not otherwise
restricted by the PAL staff. Rooms are “checked out” for a
period of three hours, and may be renewed if there is no
other demand. Reservations are accepted at the service desk,
or by calling 312-341-3651.
-
Non-Roosevelt patrons may use the rooms, but are not allowed
to make room reservations. Use of the room must be
surrendered to a RU patron at the request of the PAL staff.
-
Patrons
will be held responsible for any damage to the room itself
or any of the equipment. PAL staff may check the condition
of the room upon return of the key.
-
The PAL
staff reserves the right to evict patrons from the study
rooms for violation of posted procedures.
-
Please
keep volume level to a minimum. The rooms are not
soundproof.
