For Faculty Members Any materials (books, scores, sound recording, videos, journal articles and personal items) may be placed on reserve, which restrict their circulation for three hours. Longer check-out periods for reserve items can be assigned at the instructor’s request. PAL staff asks for all reserve requests three weeks before the start of the term. Requests will be processed in the order received. Please see the instructions and form below for more information. Select materials may be placed on E-Reserve at the request of the instructor. Please call the Performing Arts Library Director for more information. Instruction The Performing Arts Library offers library instruction (bibliographic instruction) for all music and theatre related courses. Instructional sessions are designed in collaboration with the teaching faculty, and are conducted in the library. Make a Book, Score or CD Purchase Request All CCPA faculty members are encouraged to submit purchase requests. The PAL endeavors to honor all requests within the limitations of the budget.
