I am involved in three different areas of research at present.  I am a honeybee geneticist, involved in construction of genomic maps to identify genes linked with learning and foraging. Secondly, I am involved with bioinformatics analyses of microbial and insect genomes using computer programs to analyze biological data. Last, not but least, I am also evaluating the attenuation of hemodynamic responses to laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation by a number of drugs (anesthesia and related medical research)
