Advising

In Fall 2008, the BGS program implemented a new advising system so that all BGS students would be assigned to a specific advisor. This will help us both get to know each other and ensure that your coursework selection each semester is correct. If you are one of my advisees, we will discuss your next semester's courses usually via a phone conference and/or emails.

If you are ready to discuss your next semester's coursework, please email me and include the following information:

1. Your name,

2. Your major (if you don't have a major yet or if you are thinking about changing majors, please indicate 1-3 majors that you are considering),

3. How many total credit hours or courses you'd like to take the next semester, and

4. Any specific courses offered that are of special interest to you.

Additionally, if you would prefer talking with me (rather than emailing back and forth), please also include at least three different days with specific blocks of time that would work for me to phone you. FYI: I am not generally available in the evening or weekends for phone conference advising.
