BIOL 332: Ecology of Tallgrass Prairies
 
Prairies have been described as the most endangered ecosystems in North America. This is a field-oriented introduction to prairies, including exploration of unique ecological processes found at the population, community, and ecosystem levels. Special attention will be given to prairie plants, insects, soils, endangered species, and prairie restoration. 4 semester hours, with lab.

Prerequisites: BIOL 112 Or BIOL 202 
 

This course is highly recommended for science teachers and science majors.
