Research Interests

Dr. Dermisi has published multiple papers at peer reviewed academic journals, from which she was the sole author in a number of them. She has presented her work at international and U.S. conferences and has chaired sessions in some of them. She is a journal reviewer for six peer reviewed journals and a Board member in one of them. Dr. Dermisi's research agenda always focused on office markets, but for the past few years her focus shifted towards security (terrorism) and life-safety issues in relation to office markets. Multiple of her conference presentations and an increasing number of her publications are focusing on this area. A new area she is expanding her research in is office building sustainability.
