The first couple years of teaching are an exciting, challenging, and demanding time for the beginning teacher. The goal of the Beginning Teacher Support Program is to continually develop and provide access to resources, professional growth opportunities, and learning communities that assist teachers in their development during this crucial stage of their careers.  

This website is organized to address many different types of support sought by beginning teachers (and often by more experienced teachers and student teachers as well). From practical tips for starting your first year, to subject and grade-level based lesson plans, to discussion forums for sharing, asking, celebrating and venting, we hope that you will find links to many of the resources you need.
